How I hook up the water

This is a quick post to talk about hooking up the fresh water hose to either fill the the fresh water tank or city hookup. Two things you want to have is a water filter and a water pressure regulator.

This setup takes a few steps but is quick and has really eliminated dripping connections. I’ve tried the Zero Gravity hose, but ended up switching to the Camcorder flexible hose, I find it is easy to drain when putting away and rolls up easily. All of these items are on my products page.

The first things I do is attach an elbow connector to the fresh water or city water connection. The reason I use the elbow is so that the hose or water filter doesn’t pull on the plastic connection and weaken it. It also helps prevent drips.

Next I connect a short flexible hose that is safe for drinking water, then I attach the water filter. Then the full hose (drinking water safe) is attached.

Lastly, I attach the hose to the water pressure regulator and the spigot.
